My complaint:

I unsubscribed 4 months ago. Apparently, my account was compromised and it just got renewed and I was charged for a month. I chatted with customer service and they stated they needed my credit card info (complete account number, security code, and exp. date) in order to get my money back. Why should I give them this info? I already had a problem and didn’t want to risk another by giving out my info. They told me that my only alternative was to call my bank and dispute the charge. When I asked for a supervisor, I was told something I’m often told which I hate – they’re only going to tell you the same thing. I insisted on speaking to a supervisor who canceled my account and refunded my money. I don’t get it since I canceled my account 4 months ago. All of this took nearly 60 minutes, a monumental waste of time.

I will also add that I tried calling customer service 2x. After asking for a supervisor, the representative offered a promotion which I declined. I was immediately disconnected. This happened twice. I am always very polite.

Suggested solution:

An apology would be nice.
