My complaint:
You created a monster when you named Ari Melber’s show The Beat. His cringe worthy musical references, which are awkward, banal, and forced, are incredibly awkward and tiresome. He is also really bad at questioning. All too often he is forced to say, “What I was trying to ask…”. Those words are deadly. I watch the faces of those he is questioning, suffering at their confusion. He is like that nerdy guy everyone avoided in school, the insufferable boy who tried so hard to be cool, that everyone avoided at all costs.
Suggested solution:
Pass along feedback to make him aware of how alienating he is. Have him alter his Schlick.
