My complaint:

My 2014 Jeep Grand Cherokee was under MOPAR extended factory warranty from Chrysler. This warranty covered everything bumper to bumper.
In March, my engine started to shake and the check engine light came on. I immediately took my car in for servicing at Bayside Chrysler in Queens, NY. The dealership informed me that my engine needed to be replaced as the cylinder heads were blown. This was a shock to me because I serviced that car every 3 months from Bayside. How could the engine just blow?
The dealership told me that Mopar and Chrysler would need to inspect the original engine to see why it failed before replacing.
I did not receive an update until May… this was over 2 months renting cars to get to and from work and to pick up groceries.
When I received the update from MOPAR, they denied my claim. DENIED!
Saying the engine was driven at an overheated state and therefore its my responsibility. This was ridiculous and i was beyond frustrated. I am the driver of a car, not a mechanic. The hood never smoked and the temperature gauge was always within the normal allowance. How am i supposed to know my engine is overheating if the car doesn’t tell me?
To continue this nightmare, the dealership said i could have my motor-less vehicle back or pay out of pocket for $14,000 to have it fixed.
MOPAR should have covered my cost as my car was under warranty. I will NEVER buy CHYLSER or any affiliated brands with MOPAR. I am beyond mad and completely disappointed. I am out of pocket now $14,000 plus all my rental car expenses. MOPAR and CHRYSLER need to rectify this immediately!

Suggested solution:

Reimburse the $14,000 to replace my vehicle's engine
