My complaint:

01-30-23 2PM Michaels, Evansville, IN. I stopped into the store to use my reward money coupon. Very nice lady helped me find what I needed. At the checkout the cashier was so soft spoken I had trouble hearing her. I kept asking her to speak louder and she didn’t. She knew I had the rewards and rang the purchase up without using the rewards. She didn’t even offer to put it in a bag. Brittany. I asked her to get someone that knew what they were doing – Taylor. I had to wait for the register to be free and then when I opened the app, I was asked my email address and I used the one I thought it was. Wasn’t. I was told by Taylor I needed to use the right email address. Finally, the transaction was cancelled and rang up properly. Taylor couldn’t get the bag open, and I told her to forget it. Neither one thanked me for being a customer or sorry it took so long. Yes, I was frustrated. I have never had this experience before. If a new person doesn’t know how to do something you just don’t charge a customer and expect them to leave when they have a coupon. Brittany appeared to be a nice person, but low on knowledge. She needs to be adequately trained before left on a register by herself. I don’t care if the customer is frustrated or not YOU ALWAYS THANK THE CUSTOMER. The customer is your bread and butter. I am 80 and not totally literate on a cell phone. I was trying to open the app when Brittany approached me, and I didn’t have it open at that time.
