Maytag complaint: Will not give my rebate money

My complaint:

I purchased a microwave, gas stove, and dishwasher in May of 2022. At that time, there was a promotional rebate of $100.00 if 3 appliances were bought. The store owner had the rebate form and filled it out for me and gave a copy of the receipt to send in (it contained ALL the information needed).

Ever since, after having emailed the maytagappliancepromotions.com numerous times about where the refund is, and they keep emailing me back stating they do not have all the information needed-i need to send pictures of all the appliances serial numbers–I didn’t follow the terms right on the rebate form–resend pictures of the serial numbers–we are expediting your request (over and over again)—and for me to check on their website @ maytagappliancepromotions.com to check on my rebate.

I was given the claim number MF7VHTP2SV to use when checking the site. I have checked the site numerous times and it tells me that no such claim number exists. I am SO ANGRY because I am retired and am looking forward to the rebate! This company has extremely POOR customer service, and is fraudulent to me. They don’t comply with their own promises and promotions.. and after having spent over $4000.00 on their crappy poorly made flimsy appliances, which is highway robbery in the first place…you would think that they would stand behind their promises/products.

In just a couple months, I have noticed scratches on the microwave, not from misuse, dents in the gas stove, also not from misuse. The drawer on the bottom of the stove is so flimsy that it warps when opened. I was happy in the past with maytag, but now I would never ever ever buy ANYTHING FROM THIS COMPANY AGAIN!!! Upon reading many reviews, I can see that there are many many poor reviews with maytag purchases from many many others, of which they did not get any help when contacting maytag, many of them have said they have also been blown off and basically told that the company customer service just doesn’t care, and will never contact you back regarding customer concerns!

I certainly think I should be given much more than $100.00 rebate for these rotten appliances and everything that they have put me through to get it, it’s taken 17 months to get a rebate that supposedly was to take 6-8 weeks to receive. Had I known maytag would be so non-compliant and uncaring of their customers, I surely would not have wasted my hard earned money on their crap!!!

I certainly hope you have much better luck with them than I have.

Suggested solution:

Give me my rightful rebate!!! And stop lying to me about it. I feel I should be reimbursed much more than the $100.00 for how I have been treated by them! I know their company makes billions of dollars every year in profits.

I would not give them one star on my experience with them.
