My complaint:
I find it hard to believe that we have now come to the point of lowering our standards so low that Broadcasting outlets would allow such vulgar based advertising such as the latest Jackson-Hewitt tax advertisements where they actually use the F word in the guise of the word BUCK. While other advertisements lately sometimes allude to the slang wording, Jackson-Hewlitt has taken it to the limit by essentially saying or implying the actual word in the way they have written the script right down to the inflections in the sentences such as What the Buck? and adding The buck stops here to back up the initial outburst of What the Buck.
. What I really don’t understand is how that ad got thru so many approval meetings to actually get on the air and shame on the networks for allowing this ad to air as it will definitely have opened the door for more vulgarity. I would suggest that you run this Jackson-Hewitt advertisement while having a colleague in another room listen to it. That’s how I found it in the first place and now think about having youngsters in that room when this ad comes on. Would I ever even think of using the Jackson-Hewitt tax product? Never. Enough is enough, there is no reason for advertising with such lack of regard for family values. Take that Ad down!
