I am writing to you to raise an issue about: Loyalty cards
The issue that I have experienced was: My bonus card was frozen by Iceland and all my saving put on hold 25082020
.I have added £1000 worth of Compliment vouchers in to bonus on 06082020
On 25082020 received an email from Liz Carrusters informing that they freeze my account because Iceland found not genuine vouchers in some of their stores and they are investigating the issue.I have had £952 of saving in my account but they have been removed by Iceland with no explanation.My balance is showing 0.00If anything wrong with the vouchers you have to provide proof .
The first email I have received from you was on 25082020 and that is 3 weeks after I had submitted the vouchers.I have had a very stressful week as this is not a nice situation to be in.I have never had any problems like this in the past.
Therefore I have some questions:
first :Is it not the responsibility of your company to check authenticity of the vouchers at the checkout ?
second:Where is the guarantee that after I have submitted the vouchers they have not been replaced ?
third:If I think that the vouchers are fake ,would I put myself at risk and submit them in to my Bonus account?
It occurred on: 25082020
This meant that Very stress fully affected my health.,removed my saving with no explanation,no proof.
please provide me with the details.
I want Iceland explain,issue a refund .
