My complaint:

I purchased the Premium Business and Personal with state return download package directly from the company. The link that they provided was for the Deluxe package which did not include business. After being on hold for 2 hours with their support department, the proper link for business was provided. I completed a return and when I transitioned to work on the state return, they tried to charge me $40 for the state package. I had to spend another 2 hours on hold to get them to download the proper state. I worked on several business returns over the weekend of April 3, 2021. I saved them all as I completed them and printed them all to PDF. On Monday evening the 5th, the business program would not load. I spent 45 minutes on hold and support cut me off. The next morning at 7:02AM CDT, I called support and they showed me how to get the program back. They told me there was a chance that I would lose all of the returns that I was working on, but I had no choice as I could not get the program up at all. They did get the program to run again, and I did lose all the returns. While the agent was trying to get them back, I was cut off again. When I got back into the support area, the new agent tried a few things and then basically admitted that the returns were lost.

Suggested solution:

I will need to spend many hours recreating all of the work previously done. At the least they should refund the cost of the software ($80.00?). Compensating me for my time would be a payment of $1,000.00. I want no free product from this company as I never plan to use them again and will tell everyone that I know what a real piece of crap they are.
