H&R Block complaint: Unauthorized charges, rude customer support representatives

My complaint:

I have had multiple charges on my account. And when I call in, I get called names, I get made fun of, and I get told that I cannot put a stop payment on unauthorized charges. When I ask for a supervisor or someone else that’s not going to belittle me, I get hung up on. Why is it asking too much for people to do their jobs? Why is it asking too much to be treated as a human? And now, they answer the phone, DEMANDING my social security number, despite just ing my identity and info. It’s happened three times today alone. When I refuse and tell them I’m uncomfortable with giving it, and I’ve never had to do it before, they hang up on me. Idk wtf is going on? But I’ve NEVER been treated this badly by H R Block before this merger. Since then, it’s been pure hell and chaos in regards to handling my finances with the Emerald card. They have also threatened to cancel my card, EVEN THOUGH I TOLD THEM THEY DIDN’T HAVE MY PERMISSION, BECAUSE I HAVE A CHILD ON DISABILITY. They didn’t care, just laughed at me and then hung up again.

Over and over for the past few days. No one wants to be bothered there. And then try to point blame on me, for asking them to help me. I’m completely over it. But in their eyes, it’s okay for someone to steal my money?!?!? If it was them, they would be raising hell too.

I just need my money back. And to be treated like a human.

Suggested solution:

I want a full Investigation of the call center they are contracted with. Something VERY wrong is going on here. I have done business with H R for over 10 years now. And due to the treatment o have recently received from the call center, I’m about ready to. Call a quits, and take my money elsewhere. No one should have to endure this kind of verbal abuse when trying to handle their own financial affairs.

I want my money back from all unauthorized charges. I will NOT let this go until my money is replaced. As for the customer service representatives, they need better training. It’s completely unacceptable to laugh and make fun of someone that is asking for your help.

I don’t find this funny. Not one bit. I have better things to do with my time than do this. But since I can’t get ahold of a REASONABLE ACTING ADULT THROUGH H R BLOCK, this is the choice I was left with. Since YOUR company refuses to handle this, I will get whoever I have to involved so that others don’t have to endure the horrific treatment that I have.
