My complaint:
I dropped off my documents (1099’s, Social Security and pension info) on 32322 and was told my taxes would be ready in about a week. The next evening my home phone showed a missed call from HR Block, no message left. I figured my taxes were completed sooner than expected and went to check, but was told they were still being worked on and to come back next week. Two weeks went by and I went in and asked again and now I am told my paperwork has been lost. They told me not to worry (on April 6) because filing date is April 18. Now it is April 9 and I have heard nothing further since 3 days ago and no extension has been filed and I AM worried. I have left messages on their system each of the last 3 days and heard nothing. It’s no big deal to them, I guess. I have to try to get new copies of all my lost paperwork now.
Suggested solution:
A little communication would be nice.
