My complaint:

Ever since my boyfriend and I checked in to the hotel it’s been nothing but rudeness feels and a runaround. For starters when we first walked into our room we had dirty sheets an filthy pillows the room hadn’t been cleaned in quite some time there was dirt leaves trash on the floor. The overhead light has no light shades still doesn’t leave address it multiple times in destiny don’t care. The heater air conditioner does not work and when you turn it on it lets out and obnoxious disgusting smell so we brought our own space heater along with our own sheets and blankets and pillows. Every power outlet in the room won’t hold a power cord in it you plug it in it falls right out. Going to be opened the refrigerator there was mold inside there was no light bulb it looked like an animal was trapped inside of it trying to escape it’s all cut up tore up I don’t know what happened to it but the front desk doesn’t seem to care about that either. The bathroom was extremely worse, the shower head was corroded with mildew calcium God knows what when you turned it on it was the weakest water flow one could ever have, so we brought our own shower head in. In the microwave there was a dirty needle. There was also a dirty needle in the cabinet above the sink. I don’t understand why people can’t clean the room beforehand like they’re paid to do. Today is February 19th week number three of my boyfriend and my stay here. We have been without clean towels for 4 days now in the office has no problem not giving towels out like it’s normal. When I went down to the desk today to ask them if they had the towels or anything like that the very rude female working the desk informed me that once our reservation is over we’re not allowed to extend that we have to leave no matter what. Didn’t give any reason or explanation I find that really odd. My boyfriend and I are homeless we both work I work in the hospitality business so I understand the front desk job can be difficult at times but these people don’t even make an effort to do their job. I don’t understand why we have to leave when our reservations up and why we cannot extend? We pay for two weeks all at once along with the deposit which they charge a brand new deposit every time you check in? I still have not received my first deposit back and the front desk has nothing to say about it. I don’t know why they’re being so rude and unfair but we are not a problem at this hotel we stick to ourselves we keep our stuff clean we don’t make any messes unlike a lot of the other guests here. I know people who have been staying at this hotel in the exact same room for well over a year and a half now and my boyfriend and I have to leave after 4 weeks? Please help me understand why and how this is right because I feel very uncomfortable mistreated and used when I’m the one paying to stay here and it’s not cheap to stay here for 2 weeks when you’re homeless.

Suggested solution:

Help me understand why we can't extend our reservation why we have to leave. Why we can't get any help from the front desk when they're supposed to be helpful. We had dirty needles in our room we had filthy sheets we had black mold in our refrigerator and no one cared. My boyfriend's is a heart patient with a pacemaker if we wouldn't have cleaned that room top to bottom he would probably be in the hospital right now because of it. What would you say is appropriate for all of this for me? I have been in contact with my lawyer and he says we do have a really good case and the last thing I want to do is take it that far. So please I hope we can figure something out thank you.
