My complaint:

I initially checked in at the Lawrenceville location on December 7, 2020 through Priceline and was scheduled to check out on December 12, 2020. I extended my stay through Priceline on December 11, 2020, which I would have been scheduled to check out on December 14, 2020. The room was secured for my son who has a mental illness and had recently been released from prison. I was visiting him every day to make sure he had essential services until we are able to secure permanent housing. After, I paid for the room through Priceline which would have given me two more additional nights, I went into the office to inform the agent on duty. He informed me that he could not allow me to Sign a new agreement at that time but I would not have to worry because I had already paid for the upcoming days. The following morning I went to the room to check on my son and realized that he had been told to check out. The representative o. Duty admitted he had made a mistake but had no other suggestions. After going back and forth for hours looking for my son who has a mental illness, I decided to go ahead and cancel the room which was close to 7 pm. My son ended up calling me around 8 pm saying he has no where to stay. I instructed him to go back to the Hometown suites to see if he can secure a room. The female I spoke to at this time was rude and showed zero empathy. For some reason, no one wants to give their names. To make matters worse, she threaten to call the police on my son.

Suggested solution:

Justice for my son who has a mental illness. This is clearly discrimination against individual with a mental illness.
