My complaint:

She was not “let go” from Woodridge nursing and rehabilitation for no reason! She is the most unprofessional manager I’ve ever had to work under. On one occasion when a dietary aide didn’t show up to work in the morning. A few hours later when the girl calls her back she began yelling and cussing her out! How can we respect our management when they act like that? She has lied to my face. She is horrible at ordering what we need in the kitchen. Last week we didn’t even have napkins to roll the silverware for the residents! As well as bread continuously. Sad part about it is the whole staff knows “she hates being bothered on her weekends off!” I messaged her 5 different text messages one weekend when I didn’t see the meat I was supposed to be serving. She couldn’t even respond with an ok! Didn’t acknowledge me whatsoever! She constantly is talking down about one employee to another!! Since I started, even telling one employee what the other said about them, as if she probably started the conversation. When I was hired almost a year ago my paperwork said part time, but I specifically remember she crossed that out and put FULL time. This week I have 14 hours! For the whole week! I am a single mother of two children struggling to pay my bills. Which she’s fully aware of. I’ve asked her on multiple occasions if i could have more hours! The other cooks have 30, 26, and 20. All three have more than I do and I’ve been there the longest! Two weeks ago I filled in for another cook, so it was my day off. And she wrote me up (my first and only write up) saying I had forgotten to take a break. Which I’m more than positive I did! Even though my shift isn’t even a whole 5 hour shift. This past Friday when I showed up for my shift she is waiting for me at the door to the kitchen saying I need to start coming in dress code because of a beaded bracelet I had on my wrist! I explained to her that I couldn’t find a hair tie so I was planning on using it to pull my hair back. Also there were three other employees in the kitchen at the time which is really embarrassing to me! If my supervisor has to scold me, I would appreciate if it was at least in the privacy of her office! I love my job, but she is making it unbearable to stay much longer. Another cook she had hired **** had asked for her help one day to make gravy and she talked so bad about her. Then for the next two or three weeks only scheduled her one day out of the whole week while telling staff she was doing it on purpose to make her quit! Which of coarse worked! And I feel as if she’s doing the same thing to me now, because she is well aware I can not provide for my daughters and I off of 14 hours a week! Don’t know what else to do!

Suggested solution:

Even out the hours between staff! Simply make it more even. And when correcting staff please do it in private not in front of everyone to feel superior.
