My complaint:

I am hoping I may get some response to my problem. I phoned head office, spoken to a Fiona several weeks ago who said she’d call back but have had nothing. I’ve sent emails and photos to support my issue but no response. The Hervey bay manager refuses to help and just says the chair I have a problem with is the same as his personal chair but never said the same as shop demo I ordered from him. His is not even a lift chair so should be different. I don’t know why he keeps referring to his personal one only?

I’ve been to Fair trading but manager refused conciliation, next I was advised to apply to for legal advice or make a claim through QCAT. I don’t want to go through that avenue I’m in my 70 s and it’s too stressful. I have lots of communication emails with manager and photos I’m happy to forward if required. I know what I was supplied is nothing like what I ordered off the store floor. The recliner lift chair I received is much too high, I’m tall, my feet don’t touch the floor and shorter people have trouble getting on it. I selected the chair as it suited my health issues but what I have is not settling in, I’ve used daily since before Xmas, as I was told it would. I hope you can assist so I can forward my emails and pics., and hopefully come to an arrangement where the chair can be made usable or replaced with the demo one he says will be dumped anyway.
