Green Dot Bank complaint: Stimulus money gone

My complaint:

I filed my taxes through turbotax. I don’t have a bank account, so they put my $1 refund on a turbo card. I owed back tax, so the IRS ly took that dollar, but the card was still sent and has a zero balance. I threw away the card.

Fast forward to the 1200 stimulus payment. IRS get my payment states they sent the money to an account ending in 5066. Turbotax sent an email congratulating me on the payment and to check card. If I no longer had the card, request a replacement free of charge. So I did. The new card had a zero balance.

All attempts to contact green dot have been unsuccessful, mainly because they have no way to contact them. I believe they blocked me on Twitter for asking for assistance (admittingly, I don’t get Twitter and rarely use it).

Turbotax has also been no help. Constant runaround. Call the irs, check the get my payment, contact green dot, we don’t handle the money, its green dot.

They did say they contacted green dot to expedite the issue, and had me send an email. This was 3 weeks ago and no one got back to me.

Suggested solution:

They should move the 1200 balance from the account I have no way to access, and place it on the replacemt card they sent. Or send me a new card with the 1200. Or send me a 1200 check.
