Green Dot Bank complaint: Refused to refund and follow their policy.

My complaint:

I hadn’t used my green dot card in a couple months but when I got my stimulus check and it said deposited I went looking through all my cards and there it was… on my card. Well later that night my car got broken into and the next morning I realized it I called and made a police report. I also called green dot.. they said TEN DAYS. their policy says if they do not have an answer within that ten days they will refund the money temporarily. Well after the 12 and 13 day I kept asking for an update or where are my funds bc that’s their policy. Well they kept up with excuses and never gave me an answer. I even told them and pointed out that their policy states they will refund the money if no answer . They promised me by this day I would have my refund and that day would come and go. Then after so long she finally told me it was denied. No joke I’d cried. I messaged again how can you let theif who stole my stuff (and my other cards were effected too) they said you can go online and refile. When I go online to refile it says I’m sorry you can’t choose those transactions bc they are already apart of a claim. Umm ok.!! I feel like everyone just pushes the complaint until it’s so difficult you can’t even complain anymore.

Suggested solution:

I want my 2400.00 refunded. I’m not asking for compensation for the stuff I’ve lost waiting for my money or the time and stress. Please just give me my money back so the theives don’t get away while I pay.
