My complaint:
Green Dot has blocked my account they told me it was due to unusual activity,but there had been none one my end,and when I asked what that activity was they said it was because they needed me to upload my state issued picture ID when I tried they said they couldn’t accept it. So I asked to speak to a supervisor the rep hung up on me,when I called back the rep says my card was blocked due to a declined transaction,at my local grocery store the rep said that my a account was blocked because of this so I asked why it was declined in the first place because I have more than enough in my account to pay for the purchase the rep then told me they could not disclose any other info so I asked for the number to call corporate and she said that she was cooperate and could not help me I have called back numerous times and gotten the same results. I am in a major bind because Green Dot has all of my money and I can’t even buy dinner to feed my child or medicine to get my husband over the flu. So yes I am very upset and I am wanting something done in this matter.
Suggested solution:
They need to unblock my account and see to it that this does not happen again otherwise I feel that they should be sued for every cent they have taken from the customers they have ripped off plus compensation for the stress and difficulties they have caused for me and all the other customers that got robbed by Green Dot after trusting them to be an honest company. As for how many stars do I rate Green dots service well it's just too bad that ZERO isn't an option because they don't deserve a rating of even one because a one is more than they deserve in my opinion. They need to be sued and shut down completely and prosecuted to the highest extent of the law. Someone should do time just like the law would make anybody else do for robbing people. They should not get away with this just because they are a big corporation. The law still should apply to them equally as it does to the little people.
