My complaint:
I purchased a new upright refrigeratorfreezer with side doors about a year ago. The Led Light went out in the freezer, and it took two weeks to repair that. When the LED light was being replaced myself and the service technician noticed that there was a tear on the gasket around the freezer door. It took one week for the gasket to be sent to my home and another to another week for them to come and replace the gasket. On 17 December 2021 a technician came to my home and replaced the gasket. On 18 Dec. 2021, my wife noticed a buildup of ice on everything in our freezer. I inspected the gasket, and you can plainly see that it is not properly installed. I have ice on everything and everywhere in my freezer and all my food is covered with frost and ice. Ice is forming on the outer inside of the freezer. I have to keep wipe down the inside of the freezer because of the ice buildup. I was told on 18 Dec. 2021 that an emergency work order was put in and I received a work order 065493223. I also was told to make a call requesting a new service repair for something that was supposed to be fixed.
Suggested solution:
I can't believe that I was told that there is no resolution for my problem until the 5 Jan 2022. this is totally unacceptable to have this severe problem and I must wait 3 weeks until someone can do anything. This refrigerator is new and should not have these sorts of problems. I should not have to keep cleaning up ice for 3 weeks because the gasket was not properly replaced. After the replacement of the gasket, it appears that it still needs to be replaced properly. Maybe the freezer door needs to be replaced or give me a new refrigerator. I feel as though my extended warranty is to no benefit to me. Why must I wait 3 weeks until someone shows some concern when it is obvious this is an emergency.
