My complaint:
Was in the Food Basics buying one flat of eggs I had forgotten to get the first time, and was using a gift card I recieved for christmas and the cashier decided it was okay to ask me in front of all the other customers who then started to stare at me about my employment status, I own my own business and work full time but I still have a right to use a gift card that was given to me and to not be made a spectacle of or embarrassed
publically and put on the spot it is none of your employees business if the customers are employed or not. She was a middle aged woman her employee i.d is 172, and her behaviour is totally innappropriate…..what would she have done if I hadnt been employed? This happened at 7:38pm fri dec 29, i have already filed a complaint but I usually never get a response from the company any other time so thought I would try here. I dont even really feel comfortable in returning to this store now as I feel embarrassed and Ive been going to this store as my main grocery store for years
Suggested solution:
I hope she loses her job so she doesnt get a chance to do this to anyone elsr in the future. Ive never felt more humiliated.
