FlightNetwork complaint: Dishonesty regarding fare flexibility – seeking reimbursement for airline change fee

My complaint:

flight network order no: LFR98V
flight network booking no: ZKNEND
Jetstar booking no: OM21QD

Booked 24 Dec. I paid extra for flexibility. I never received a copy of the cost breakdown. I needed to change the return (Jetstar) flight for my wife. I called Jestar on 11.03.22, who advised I had a Starter Fare, with an attached $60 change fee. Surprised at this, I called flight network on 11.03.22 (I can provide the call details so that a call trace retrieval of call recording can be obtained to facilitate investigations). flight network staff member advised there was no change fee, but that the next cheapest Jetstar flight on the day I wanted to change to (01.07.22) was $150. Again, surprised, I called Jetstar today (12.03.22) who advised that the next cheapest fare on 01.07.22 was an increase of $24 (on top of their $60 change fee). I booked.

Suggested solution:

flightnetwork should reimburse me the $60 change fee I paid to Jetstar.

I paid for a flexibile fare, and I did not get one.

flightnetwork had the audacity to want to charge $150 for the change, citing fare increase, but this was proven to be a lie via my contact with Jetstar.

if i don't receive a timely reimbursement of the change fee I will be reporting flightnetwork to the ombudsman
