My complaint:

My flight was suddenly cancelled. They only sent me an email notification one day before the flight (they did not send an SMS to the phone, nor did they call). In that notification, they wrote that the flight was canceled due to a CONTROLLABLE LACK OF AIRCRAFT AVAILABILITY and they also informed me that they had rebooked my ticket for January 4th. On the morning of December 13, I had a meeting scheduled in Calgary to receive an American tourist visa. I arrived at the airport on December 12, hoping to get help in solving the problem from the carrier, but they only gave the hotline number. A few hours later, I was able to get through to this hotline and they told me that they could not help in any way, except to postpone the booking of the ticket from January 4 for a couple of days. As a result, I could not fly to Calgary, which is why I missed the meeting (as a result, I have to wait about 9 months to schedule a new meeting), and also could not usereturn the return ticket, which cost $ 220. And I still haven’t been able to get a refund for the ticket for the canceled flight, which cost $ 79(they sent me an email with a link to the chatbot, but this chatbot only forms a request).

Suggested solution:

At least - a refund of $ 79 for the ticket and compensation of $ 221.68 for the return ticket (I bought the return ticket from another company: Air Canada).
