My complaint:
I went to the dollar tree on Thursday 415 to buy to birthday candles, table cloth and balloons. I went to the register with my items. No one was there , I called out “hello is anybody there ? “ someone from the office replied “yes I will be there in a minute” I waited and waited the line grew people were asking is anyone there . I called out again “hello , can you help , she replied “iam coming you have to wait” rudely ! Then I heard another voice and I said “there are two people back there and nobody can help me at the register?” She came out and then told me “ you know you don’t have to wait you can just leave” i then respond “no I don’t want to leave I want to get the things I came here for , what’s the problem” she then goes back in the office and tells the other staff “come on let’s go kick her out “ the other staff walks to the register and picks up my items to ring them up and the staff tell “ no don’t ring her stuff , kick her out “ I then respond to her “ you can not refuse me” she then responds “yes I can and I can kick you out ! You and your husband get out” ! I have never in my 33 years of life felt so disrespected, belittled, discriminated against, everything in the book you name it ! I will go tomorrow back to that store when management are there because that was not acceptable. The staff was a Caucasian young woman and I am a young black female. She absolutely without question of a doubt was bias and racist. She absolutely had no right to deny me or kick me out the way she did.
Suggested solution:
That staff needs to be fired no questions asked! Myself and my family spend hundreds of dollars at dollar tree. That is a very very very very very bad reputation of your store.
