My complaint:

I ordered some gain wax melts Dec 10, 2022 online. I was told through email that I would get updates about my order I placed, and would get a email when order is ready to be picked up from the family dollar off shreveport barksdale in Shreveport Louisiana 71105, which is the store in my area. I only received one email, and that was the email after placing the order. Days went by, then it turned into weeks. So I made several attempts and called the store to check on my order, the phone just ring and ring so I gave it a couple of days tried again someone actually picked up the phone, but didn’t say anything just sat the phone down so I actually could hear people talking. So I was like hello, nobody ever came to the phone so I just hung up after holding on for about 25 minutes, called back to get a busy signal. That went on for about 30 minutes with a busy signal so I was like I’ll try again tomorrow I guess. Days went by so I tried to contact different ways this time, I looked up 1800 numbers online, even tried looking up the head quarters phone number. Luckily I gotten a hold to someone that day, I spoken with a lady from one of the numbers I found online, and I told her what was going on she asked for my order number and told me to hold on and that she will contact the store to see if the order has came in, I said ok she placed me on a brief hold came back said that she couldn’t get anyone I told her that’s what I’ve been going through since I’ve placed the order, can’t get ahold to anyone in the store. Anyways she told me that the other had been delivered on the 18th of December at that store. I told her well no one has reached out to me at all. She told me to hold on and she’ll try to call again, but still she gotten no one. She told me she would email the store and see what’s going on with my order and if the order was there did I want it, I said yes ma’am I do, she said ok, but if it’s not there then you will receive a refund within seven business days. It is now December 28, 2022. I am so upset, I feel as if I’ve been taken for a ride. I feel like I been stolen from. I feel like my time, money and patience has been taken for granted. When I think about family dollar store now alot of negative thoughts comes with it. I will never purchase from this store again! I just want my money back plus interest for all my time, money and patience waisted, not to mention Christmas has came and gone. I am very disappointed with family dollar service.

Suggested solution:

Give me a refund along with what I ordered.
