Family Dollar complaint: No Accountability!! At corporate or at this location!!

My complaint:

I went to one of my favorite stores on may 17, 2021. Purchased $70 worth of yard items. During my whole time there I hear two women talking loud enough to be heard through the whole store. I heard them discussing about work, their sex lives and much more. During my checkout they were still talking and explaining that once the customers are gone we can go outside to smoke and tell the real good story. There was another guy behind me that had only 3 items. Once I left the store I checked my bank card balance. That’s when I saw i had not only my purchase on there but a second one as well for $24.09. I assumed it was the guy behind me or, hate to think it but, a illegal purchase from one of the staff. I went back to complain and talk to the Manager. Come to find out that the person that checked me out Was the Manager!! Her name is MAGDA!! SOOOOO…..I can’t complain to the manager about herself so i tried to get in touch with corporate. Every number I tried lead me to a voice activated system that told me to leave a detailed message about the incident, my number and email and they will get back. Needless to say i haven’t heard from anyone. I have called and left messages for a Racheal Logan, their accountant, but she hasn’t gotten back with me either. I guess this type of thing is not only allowed but done quite often at these locations. I’m not sure if they stole my information or just my card number and pin…..but how is it possible to make a transaction from my card without me being at the store? Now I have to close my bank card, wait until my other one arrives and be inconvenienced during the process. Instead of them helping me out I had to complain about them on COMPLAIN.BIZ just to get some attention on the matter.

Suggested solution:

I believe they should get back in touch with me letting me know that they have investigated the situation. If your customer's credit card or bank information isn't secure at your locations, I believe action is required. I would like to be fully refunded, for the manager in question to be fully investigated and for the other employee to be reprimanded for her unprofessional behavior. Family Dollar needs to do a complete make over of their stores because it's beginning to get out of hand.
