My complaint:

I was in DS in Harvey’s Quay and while on self service checkout I ran into little problem while scanning items through and asked staff member who was there to support check outs for help and she jumped down my throat, was arrogant and obnoxious as well and no customer service skills at all, this woman is their long time and would think she would know better but it seems a lot of them are completely disinterested and just don’t want to be there. This woman’s name is Amanda, don’t know second name who has been there quiet a long time and would expect better from her but this is not the case

Suggested solution:

They were talking some time ago about sending bus Eirean drivers on customer service course when they were inundated with complaints from passengers about driver rudeness and lack of basic communication skills and how to simply treat customers with respect. They should do this or something similar with Dunnes staff as they simply do not have basic customer service skills and need to be thought how to simply treat customers with respect and not just simply and inconvenience
