My complaint:

I am a regular shopper at Dunnes in Portmarnock. My encounter with the staff there has always been a pleasant experience. However Saturday morning I was waiting outside while the person on the door let us in. On this particular occasion it was an unpleasant experience. I was pointed at “you” “go”. Strange but fine then he approached me regarding me not wearing a mask (am exempt but I never have a problem with your staff, which is very much appreciated). In an abrasive manner asked me why and then stared at me for a few seconds, then pointed to the door and said “go”. It was more like he was barking orders. It did feel uncomfortable.

It’s the first time I felt this way. I did mention it to my husband when I got to the car and thought I shouldn’t have to feel this way so I went back and asked him for his name, Cumar.

I hope you will address this or maybe have someone more user friendly on the door.

Suggested solution:

Allow someone from your HR department to be a walk in customer when Cumar is on the door. Experience it for yourself. Have an interaction with him. The person on the door should represent what Dunnes is all about but unfortunately Cumar does not give off a positive welcoming vibe.
