My complaint:
I went to exchange two items that I could not use and I was looking around for other stuff I left the two items at the cash register and spoke with someone and she said if she was not there then somebody else would be helping me no problem I told her I wasn’t going to change it but not for the two items I was bringing back for something else that’s fine nothing else was mentioned so I went around I was there for an hour and a half shopping but I was ready to go I went to the register and a young fellow was there he seemed a little nervous when I explained to him what I was doing and showed him where the baskets were in my receipt was with it okay fine he said she’s in the bathroom right now he said but maybe you got the time to get done ringing up all your things she’ll be out( I do not understand what he meant by this) anyway 15 minutes goes by now there’s a line of people waiting and I’m holding the lineup because I have to exchange his items however I did say to him can you go ahead and finish up my sale and bring up those other people so that I’m not holding them up and they’re not waiting they said thank you he said uhhh, um sure I can do that. So you finish ringing me up I paid for my items with a credit card and waited for the manager to get me credit on the other two items however when she came out 22 minutes after I initially got in line we explained to her what was going on doing exchange she said that was fine go ahead I said no no I’ve already done all the exchange I just need the credit for this she said we can’t do that you have to have an exchange it was an exchange in my eyes because I was doing that originally but we had to hold up and wait for her and she didn’t come out and it was a long line of people that boy never told me that she said what I should have done was held off the last two items and not had him bring them up and then I could have done the exchange it wasn’t since I spent 37 more dollars and I was only bringing back the 450 and I’m supposed to be able to send it but she wasn’t out of there holding up the line I don’t know the rules it’s very upsetting they would not let me they told me I had to get two more items if I want to bring the baskets back I have to exchange them for two more items I just been in there three times that we can spend over $100 and a four day period and it wasn’t exchange except the boy rang it up and I’m thinking it would still exchange but apparently it wasn’t!! And I was not told that before all this and why would I know to hold off the last two items of something that boy should have told me that!
Suggested solution:
I feel like I was tricked were not told of the situation beforehand otherwise I would have waited I was already waiting there was no problem with waiting it was holding the line up so other people would check out and also I wasn't told that they changed has to happen at the exact same time it's a purchase that's not make sense to me I think there should have been an exception to this rule it was not my fault I could not do it nor did I know to do that
