My complaint:
I received an email for an preapproved offer of a new acct. for $5oo.00. I already have an acct. with a limit of $300. The email was rec,d 11223. I caled and spoke to a rep because whe a clicked on accept your offer it went to mt acct. page and did not know wShe the asked for an approval code. I said there was not an approval code listed. I went back to the beginning of the email and said I could not finf a code. She kept repeating what she had said I asked to speak to a supervisor. Got the same problem. she would ask a qiestion and I would give the same ans. She said to log into www.creditonebank. I did and it went right to my acct. page. I told her this but could not get any further. I asked to speak to a mgr. She told me when i get to my acct.click on offers. I was not told this before. I entered my monthly income of 2041 and it would not let me enter the oo.
,s to complete the amount. when I told this to the mgr She kept repesting and then said to clear my cache. I don,t know a lot about computers. I am 79yrs. old I asked if this would clear all my info. on my computer. I did not get an ans. I was so upset at this time I cancelled my current acct. I have paid my bill every month on time and I can,t get a simple ans. I tried filling a complaint on another page and when i hit enter it took me to a page to sign up for card. I have worked in cust. service many years and never had to call a supervisor and mgr. All they had to do was listen to what I was saying. Not keep repeating themselves so i had to keep repeating myself. I was so upset i was crying.
Suggested solution:
Train your employees how to give the corerect info. Not reapeat what themselves when I already said what was not working. Ater talkint to 3 people I was crying. This should not happen.
