My complaint:

On Thursday, August 10, 2023, myself and my lady friend went to Chili’s for Lunch. We ordered each from the Lunch menu. She ordered the Chicken Quesadilla with fries and Soup. I ordered the Buffalo Chicken with fries and a Salad. The soup was lukewarm. My salad was room temperature. It was not cold and crispy. I had the waitress return it and I replaced it with a cup of soup.

My soup was not hot and I asked the waitress to please warm it up. I like my soups very hot. It was returned back to me but it was not too much hotter. It was edible. My buffalo chicken was not moist but dry and slightly warm, along with my fries. I went ahead and ate 3 pieces of the chicken and took the rest home. Dropping off my friend, just lives about 5 minutes away from Chili’s. I headed out to Salinas. My friend called me asking if I am having any stomach problems.

She arrived home and had been experiencing diarrhea (already 3 times) having abdominal pain after eating at Chili’s. I was feeling well, until I started having stomach discomfort. I stopped and went into a Target Store and I, too, started experiencing Diarrhea. I came back into my car, not a second, I had to return back into Target and use the restroom, again. I was able to drive my car to Party City and I was standing in line, I was next, and had to ask to use the bathroom. Causing me to miss my turn. Once again, no control more diarrhea. I didn’t eat anything for the rest of the day except a couple of crackers. My stomach continued to be upset. I called my friend and she too had been experiencing diarrhea throughout the rest of the afternoon and the next day. I called the Chili’s the next day and I talked to the manager about our experience. I suggested him to examine the refrigerator and the preparation of the food being cooked. He was going to give me a customer complaint telephone number but wasn’t able to locate it.

I called Chili’s Regional and the number in the computer hooked me up directly with gift certificates. I was then transferred to the complaint department and I waiting for about 10 minutes to receive the recording of one is unable to come to the phone and thank you for calling. What is all that about? The number on the computer site for complaints was 888-354-5764. The person repeated the same number to me from Gifts and I told her that was the number I had dialed and she was the one that picked up the line.
I proceeded to complete my complaint on the computer.

I am originally from down south, Riverside County. I now live in Marina, CA. I have eaten at several Chili’s. The food has always been served hot and the salads nice, cold and crispy and tasty. I am a French Fried eater! Always fresh and crispy. This, Seaside, Chili’s doesn’t add up, unfortunately! Sadly to report, my daughter told me not to go there because she too was dissatisfied with the food. Prior to this experienced, my friend and I went to have coffee and we ordered the Chocolate fudge cake with ice cream.

The cake wasn’t moist, but dry. my friend told me the next day, she had a stomach ache and the dessert didn’t agree with her. I, too, didn’t enjoy it. The coffee was good, nice and hot! So, as you are reading, this is not the first time of being dissatisfied with the food.
I will continue to complete my complaint. I would appreciate a response back.

Suggested solution:

EXCUSE ME! THAT IS YOUR JOB!

For giggles: maybe you should Investigate your Refrigeration, the Freshness of your Food your servicing and WHO and HOW are they preparing the meals. Serve your food HOT not warm! As for your desserts: check for expiration dates or serve only daily baked!
