My complaint:

I have applied for age pension for my parents since May 3rd. I submitted all the documents required online in the app and completes all tasks. I have been notified by them through sms that there’s nothing to be done and I just have to wait for the claim to be worked on and some claims take longer than others. It’s been over three months and yesterday I got message that if has been rejected because information requested was no supplied? Is this a joke by Centrelink? And don’t bother with calling their phone lines because it just disconnects you because they’re always busy? All the tasks and documents requested were provided and nothing was heard from them or requested form June. All I kept getting was an sms saying that you do not have to do anything and they are still
Working on the claim.

Suggested solution:

Looking into the claim and trying to
Sort it out it’s been long 4 months to get a rejection due to a lame excuse that has nothing to do with being eligible to not. Rejected due to information not being provided when all
Tasks on app completed and all documents requested provided. Surely you would think someone would contact you if anything else was required or any else was missing instead of rejecting because its just easier for the staff to do so because it’s not their life or problem. And on top no customer service what’s so ever and you are stuck with not knowing what to do or where to go.
