My complaint:
My CashApp stopped allowing me to send money, saying I needed to change my payment information on file (though there are no issues with my bank or my card on file). When I looked at the payment details on file, there was an account number and routing number that wasn’t my own. This seemed strange to me since I had not received any communication from CashApp explaining the need to update payment information. I wrote CashApp twice over the past 4 weeks and have not heard anything back. I haven’t been able to use the app since, which has been very inconvenient during this time when people do not want to exchange cash in person. I would like ation from the company that the request for me to update my payment info is legitimate so that I can continue using the app. I’m very disappointed with the lack of professionalism shown by CashApp.
