My complaint:
Cash app closed my cash app account because they said I violated the terms of agreement but they didn’t give me any details on what it was that I did to violate the terms of agreement. No explanation at all! I did nothing wrong and haven’t done anything different with cash app since I stated using the app about 7 months ago. About 3 weeks ago I started having problems with sending out money. When ever I tried to send out money, no matter the amount, I would get a message saying that the payment was failed because I had insufficient funds even though I had more then enough money on my account. I was able to receive money even though I was unable to send out any. I sent an email to cash app support and 3 days later I received an email from cash app support stating that my account was closed because I violated the terms of agreement. It also said that for me to be able to withdraw my money I would have to link my debt card or bank to my cash app account and cash out the money but when I tried to link my debt card or bank account it tells me that I am unable to link a debt card or bank at this moment. Without being able to link a bank or debt card I can’t cash out my money so basically that money is frozed on my cash app and there is no possible way for me to retrieve my money. I have wrote several emails to cash app support but get no respond from them except an email that says that my account is has been closed because I violated the terms of agreement. I have asked cash app support to help me with this issue and I get no respond at all. I have $3,020 on my account and I feel like cash app has robbed me out of that money because there is no way of me to get it back since they don’t respond my emails and since there is no customer service number that I can call. As a country we are already dealing with hard times right now to have to deal with something like this and not being able to do anything about it or find a resolution.
Suggested solution:
At this point I just want cash app to allow me to link a debt card so I can cash out or for them to let me know what I need to do so I can retrieve my money
