My complaint:

On Dec. 30th 2022 at 8:45pm. I had went into your store to return 4 X $29.99 items I didn’t use, open or remove these items from bag. Please note: I take note I spend a lot of money in Canadian Tire as I am a sole proprietor farmer IN SASK. I do this alone, I have not wife, girl friend or children I do however have 80 hear of cattle I need to watch over because lately it’s been getting cold and I’ve had 5 pass on me now. This all aside, I was polite, I never raised my voice, I never told anyone to do their jobs. Bob or Rob, I am assuming he is the manager at very least the assistant.

Again please remember I was not rude or disrespectful. Bob or Rob had the nerve to basically tell me I am in capable of reading and made sure the whole store herd it. But he couldn’t tell his staff hey they’re been and update on Christmas gifts return policy make sure you remind the customers. I remember making that transaction very well and I was never told that the policy changed Dec. 18th 2022 on the bottom of the front of the receipt (do not let this fool anyone or there rights, it’s on the back of the Canadian tire receipts printed at Canadian tires request.

PLEASE NOTE AGAIN I WANT NOT DEMANDING MY MONEY BACK I KINDLY ASK IF I COULD JUST HAVE A GIFT CARD I’LL UISE IT LATER HE REPLIED, NO AND BASICALLY SCARED ME FROM CANADIAN TIRE IT’S CLEAR ON THE BOTTOM OF THE RECIEPT.

I can’t see it being around that much longer having your $10,000 a year spenders go else where. That kind of attitude especially, I left there feeling belittled and I explained that I can prove and show I live two hours from Medicine Hat and spend that kind of money in his story. No compromising he would have non of it and I can guess a few reasons why.

Unlike him thought, I wanted to be respectful of him and deal with the situation appropriately and maturely as I was a District Manager, youngest in the company to date with 24 stores under my belt by the time I quite. just did not want to keep them it was getting close to closing) aggressively say to me after I d point out that point out on the bottom of the receipt there was a new message due to some very difficult times with the elders in the family being sick and passing.
This all being brought to light and but you question why your theft issues are as bad as they are?
Fortunately, my friends family, nor I will even set foot in the parking lot should we not come to some sort of agreement.

I will attach pictures of what I was wanting to return, unused never set up a single decoration this year and I spent thousands last year. I’ll attach a picture of that too.

Suggested solution:

I will be satisficed when I\'m given a full refunds and an apology. Even the lady behind the till didn\'t think I deserved you could tell she felt so awkward and sorry for being so poorly treated when I\'m such a stand up customer.
