My complaint:

My husband and I are homeless with our 6 month old baby recently evicted. He just got paid and used his whole paycheck to buy a room for 8 nights. So I called hours beforehand. I asked the front desk attendant if I could book a room for 8 nights and I also asked how much? She says $350.00 including a deposit. I said that was a good deal, mind you that I was looking at their photos from Google and pricing because the last thing I needed was a dirty room for my baby. So we show up to check in and she changes the price to $480, with a $20 deposit, my husband and I thought fine, we’re already here. We’re tired and just want to lay down. We get to the room and the room was stinky, there were cats all over outside, and the room we had gotten had roaches sll over, even on the bed. I thought to myself oh my gosh my baby is not sleeping here. She makes us switch rooms completely because they had a no refund policy. Which is understandable but it was disgusting! I wanted my money back so I could get a room somewhere else but she didn’t want to give me my money back. $500. My husband was furious.

Suggested solution:

Give us our money back because we did not stay, we walked in the room and wanted to leave the hotel completely with the money we walked in with. We don't mind paying $20 for wasting their time but to take $100 from us like we stayed the night was ridiculous. Get rid of the cats all over because they carry diseases. The roaches were disgusting and the smell to the rooms made me sick to my stomach. Please do better! I would've enjoyed the stay despite all of this.
