My complaint:
I purchased an airline ticket from ASAP tickets and had to change my travel dates at the last minute because of the COVID-19 virus outbreak in Europe. Per Delta Airlines, there was a waiver code in place for changes made due to the virus. The ticket agent who changed my ticket quoted me a fee of $ 427.70 to change my ticket to a later travel date. I told her that Delta had a waiver code for travel agencies but she said she could not find it and had to have a credit card to make a change or I would lose the entire ticket. I had no choice but to give her my card and told her I would write to customer service to request a refund of the change fee. I did and never got a response to my refund request. I then contacted my credit card company to dispute the charge. They recommended I contact the merchant directly to resolve the dispute. I wrote another letter to ASAP early September and still no response. I also sent them the letter from Delta Airlines ing that a waiver was in place but they chose not to apply it.
Suggested solution:
contact my credit card company and remove the $ 427.70 charge
