My complaint:
As new clients, we asked ADP to file a single paycheck at the end of the quarter. However they informed us they would be processing taxes for our entire payroll which would be several thousand dollars. But the previous payroll provider had already paid the taxes. They insist the previous provider withdraw their filings. However the payments and 941’s were already posted to the IRS. ADP is refusing to back off of their payment which would cause our company to pay double tax in the 2d quarter of 2022.
Suggested solution:
ADP should back off either file the entire quarter with credit given for taxes already paid by the other provider, or process a quarterly payroll for just one check. Its ok if they DO NOT file a 941 and allow us to file an AMENDED 941 for the previous payroll provider.
