My complaint:

The El Dorado, AR shelter is leaving homeless people in their shelter without a monitor supervising. It started last weekend, Saturday, Sunday and Monday. Once the overnight monitor leaves, he leaves, Jon, one of the homeless people in charge. I spoke to Jon about this and he said one of the captains said it was ok to do this. I asked if Jon was getting paid to do this and he said no. I, as a homeless person myself, feel very unsafe. I also found out that he has a felony on his record. I feel much safer if only shelter monitors would be watching us. I wish this shelter would hire more help or close when a monitor is unavailable to work. I hate to complain but others in this shelter feel the same.

Suggested solution:

Hire more help, don't leave shelter open without monitor supervision
