Vinted complaint: Item never received, Vinted refusing refund

My complaint:

I purchased an item on vinted which never arrived. The tracking updated to in transit but never updated again. After it had been showing as in transit for 22 days I contacted vinted to say the parcel had clearly been lost. I was told in reply that I had to allow 25 business days for shipping before action could be taken, and to wait until February 10th. I waited until February 10th, the parcel still had not arrived, was still showing as in transit with no change of status for 38 days. I contacted vinted again precisely on the 10th as instructed. I waited 3 days for a reply to tell me it was too late and the funds had already been released to the seller and they couldn’t refund me. I am livid, I did exactly as advised by vinted and lost a significant chunk of money.
