My complaint:
i have a family of 6 members(me,wife and 4 kids). When i tried to book an appointment for my family, the Gateway global website allowed only 5 members at a time slot. i booked an appointment for my wife and youngest kid on 5h April , 9AM. however when i tried to book an appointment for me and my remaining 4 kids on the same day, the website showed that there were no more vacant slots available for the day. so i booked the appointment for 6th April, 9AM.
I reached the VFS office in Al Khobar on 5th April and told the agent about what had happened and requested him to accept all the applications together. however he refused saying that he can accept applications based on the appointment date only. He asked me to submit the 2 applications(for my wife and youngest kid) and i obliged. the next day i again visited the VFS office as per the appointment time and submitted my application along with the remaining 3 kids’ applications. This guy despite knowing my case was so careless to submit my wife’s and youngest son’s application separately and my application along with the remaining kids application separately to the embassy.
The embassy seeing that the first application had no sponsor rejected both my wife’s and my youngest kid’s visas. couple of days later i got my passport stamped with Visa , however all my 3 kids visas were rejected.
These people are so careless and so insensitive to people’s problems. i had my flight booked for 4th May. All the offices will be closed due to Eid holidays here from 27th onwards, and i don’t see any way of getting the visas stamped in time to fly on 4th May. All this mess because of the carelessness of this one guy. I seek financial damages for this negligence which has caused me both financial loss as well as mental trauma.
Suggested solution:
I want to claim my financial losses and action to be taken against the official who sits in the VFS(Turkey) office in Al Khobar, Saudi Arabia.
