UPS complaint: Package not delivered

My complaint:

UPS was to deliver a package (tracking 1Z8761F10313332490) on Saturday March 20. I waited all day and at 10:15 PM received a message that delivery was being rescheduled. Sunday, tracking said to check the next day. Monday morning, March 22, tracking said package was out for delivery, so I stayed home from work, missing a day’s pay, to be here when it was delivered. At around 11:00 AM the UPS truck pulled up in front of my house, I watched out the window waiting for the driver to unload my package and bring it to the door. Instead, he left!!! Then tracking tells me that they need address verification–he was at my house!! Why didn’t he come to the door and verify the address?? I suspect he didn’t want to deal with a 70 lb. package. So my package was returned to the Palm Springs facility. I have called customer service three times and they all say the have asked the PS facility to call me; that was five hours ago and still no call. Tracking still says they are requesting address verification or the package will be returned to the sender!!! What is going on here?

I want my package delivered TODAY!!! I can't afford to lose another day's pay because of UPS blunders!!!
