My complaint:

I have rang Uber to report 3 different charges that came out my bank that was not done on my Uber account but another account but I did not authorise these payments one for £140 as I was on the phone to the bank I was on my online banking another was pending for £146.44 the bank stopped my card and when I received my new card a few days later another payment came out when I woke up. These unauthorised payments went through PayPal then out of my bank. I spoke to Uber on the 30th April 2020 and they said they would email me the next day I received a email to say it was someone In Birmingham who used my details and look at my list of friends and family who could of used my card. First of all I don’t live no where near Birmingham also I do not give anyone permission to use my card and said they can not give no more information of the person. I have a right to know fraud was used on my account and taken a lot of money. I rang again on the 1st May and they said they will escalate it and call back next day but not since heard. Uber are not taking this seriously fraud was done on my card and I am out of pocket

Suggested solution:

Look into this and take this fraud seriously and refund my money
