Trip.com complaint: Stranded at airport. Waste of money.

My complaint:

I bought a ticket for $820 from Eugene, Oregon to Athens, Greece. On the first connecting flight I arrived at San Francisco airport. The gate was closed to the next connecting airline when I arrived making it impossible for me to Board my next flight. I had to spend the night at the airport in a stressful situation and book another expensive ticket. When I called customer service I was told I would be compensated if I gave evidence to their support team. I emailed them as I was told and they gave excuses and did not compensate me. They told me I had 50 minutes to get on the plane which they claimed was enough EVEN THOUGH THE GATE WAS CLOSED. They later said I needed 60 minutes. The company gave me a bad transition and has not owned up to their mistakes. They wasted my time, money, put me in a bad, stressful situation. I will not be using their services again and advice anyone not to use their company as well!
