My complaint:
This website is using misleading information for flight booking, they show the low cost Anadolu Jet flight with the name of Turkish Airlines using the Turkish airlines logo. Only when you go to turkish airlines website and add your booking number you see that it’s anadolu jet which has very different luggage policy (no checked-in baggage for international flights) while Turkish airlines has a 30kg check-in baggage for international flights. This way they trick costumers to buy a low cost flight and later they will find that they need to pay twice their ticket price to have a check-in luggage. When reached out to them, they didn’t agree that they show misleading information.
As a result I am travelling back and forth to the same destination, both with turkish airlines but on my way going I have a luggage of 30kg checked-in and no check-in lugggage for my return. If I want to purchase one, I need to pay around the same price of my ticket only for the luggage.
Suggested solution:
They need to show correct information about airline names on their websites, and give a voucher so that I can check-in my 30kg luggage for the return flight. Or they can re-book my return ticket with an actual turkish airline flight.
