Packlink complaint: Non payment of insurance

My complaint:

I sold two golf clubs, one a titliest 913d2 driver GB2021EBAY0032461093 on ebay on the 14th July and sent via Hermes. Over the next 3 weeks I contacted them numerous times for non delivery on both, with replies ranging from in transit, failed delivery and images showing the wrong address according to the buyer of my club. Eventually Packlink ed the package was deemed lost. At this point I had to refund the buyer and submitted a loss claim. 3 days after I submitted the claim they emailed me saying they delivered the club and then said the loss claim was no longer valid because the club had been delivered. I then contacted ebay to see about getting paid again and they informed me that the buyer wasn’t responsible and that Packlink were. I have since had two responses from Packlink stating they are not able to pay compensation because the club was delivered.

I dont agree with their decision because it was them that ed the parcel was lost, so i then had to refund the buyer leaving me out of pocket.
On top of this the other club i sent was deemed lost and is currently with their claims department, GB2021EBAY0033881370. I dont know what has changed with this company but the service they have provided me is shockingly dire.

Suggested solution:

I want a full refund of £70 pound because I also paid the extra insurance to cover the amount.
