My complaint:

Dropped off parcel 71222 at EVRi parcel shop that eBay suggested I use through Packlink. This is the first and last time I will use Packlink. Noticed tracking was not being updated and went back to shop a couple of times to check it had actually left the parcel shop and was advised to wait a little longer due to EVRi drivers struggling with volume of parcels.
As I had an EBRi ticket P6364829 H0067A0109509262
As this was the first time of using PackIink I did not know it was them I should be reporting the tracking problem to and neither did the parcel shop inform me. It was only later when I registered for the EVRi app that I saw the Packlink connection other than on eBay. Time went on, Christmas and New Year all added to the problem so obviously when I did eventually chase with Packlink they just said I was past their time limit and didn’t wan’t to know but when you took into the account the none working days bank holidays for Christmas and new year I was within their time limit. Replied back to Packlink explaining this but the email was ignored. I did seek advice from an eBay selling expert and they advised that yes I was within the Packlink time scales for making a claim for lost parcel.

Suggested solution:

This was a private eBay sale which has put me out of pocket by £23 which I have had to refund back to the buyer after he contacted eBay reporting parcel had not been delivered after waiting a month. eBay put my funds on hold until I made the refund.
Postage £4.50, item £18.50
