Omio complaint: Failure to process reasonable request for refund

My complaint:

I booked train ticket from Brussels to London on 26 August. On 3 September, I realized that I needed to change my booking, so I emailed requesting a change of time …..from midday to early morning.
Their website indicated a response.
I sent a reminder email on 6th and 8th of September.
Believing that they were not going to respond, and anxious to get a seat so that I could make my flight out of London, I purchased another ticket.
Soon after they responded with a changed ticket, apologizing for the unexpected delay.
My request for a refund was refused.
I believe this was unreasonable, and hence my complaint.

Suggested solution:

I would like a full refund of the original ticket purchase price.
