My complaint:
I have booked Air India flight ticket for my wife and son through MyTrip Pty Ltd on 8 Feb 2020 and their departure date was 20 March, 2020. Ticket total cost was AU$ 1,925.68 which I paid through debitcredit card. But due to Australia border closure and Covid pandemic I had to postpone the travel and scheduled it for 1 May 2020. But because of Australian border restrictions at that time, I had to cancel it in 2020 itself. From that time I was continuesly following up air India and Mytrip for refund. After so many follow up Air India has ed that they have refunded my fare to Mytrip in March 2022. Then I again started following up Mytrip through email and calling to customer care to get my refund and they keep saying that it’s under process and I will get it soon. But it’s more than a year they got my refund from airline but not paying to me. It was also showing on their website that they got the refund from airline and processing my refund but they haven’t paid me yet.
Now they have deleted my records from their website and I am not able to check my refund status. When I asked them yesterday why I am not able to see the refund status then they said that old records are deleted from website but I can check that through customer service. They have pathetic customer service. I have contacted them several times but they are replying the same generic message from last 1 year regarding my refund and they have escalated my issue multiple time with their finance team but no luck.
I would be thank full if you can help me in getting my own money from this MyTrip.
