My complaint:

I booked two Bronze3 caravans for myself, my partner, my 2 daughters and their kids. The booking refs. were, 13276714 and 13276716. My caravan, 68 Lakeside North, wasn’t sealed on arrival. The floors and table top were dirty, the bottom plinth on the kitchen unit was lying on the floor, the windows inside were filthy, and outside were covered in birds dirt. The final straw came when our 16 MONTH old great granddaughter found a packet of Male Erectile Tablets in the toilet. I shudder to think what would have happened if she had managed to open the packet. If the van had been cleaned, this wouldn’t have happened. We also had a leak behind the toilet bowl which required a plumber. we reported all this to reception. They offered to send someone along to clean up, but I told them not to bother as we had already cleaned it up ourselves. I find this totally unacceptable from a company of your reputation. I filled in a questionnaire from reevoo for Hoseasons but I’ve had no response from them. There was also no parking facilities at the van, and there was a very large tree trunk placed at the side of the van to stop us from driving on to the grass. The food outlets closed very early, and people were hungry when leaving the entertainment area, and couldn’t find anywhere to eat. All these things made for a very disappointing family holiday. The other caravan, booking ref. 13276716, was for 91 Lakeside East. My daughter reported a fault in an electric wall socket, which caused a buzzing sound which, not everyone could hear. She had this annoying sound for almost 4 days and nights. When the electrician finally changed the socket, this solved the problem. He told my daughter that this had been reported several times in a month, and he couldn’t find the problem, until she had shown him where it was coming from. Hopefully, you will look into these complaints.

Suggested solution:

Make sure that staff are trained in cleaning the vans properly, and ensuring that nothing has been left by previous holidaymakers. Especially anything else which could be harmful to others. Particularly medicines etcetera.
