My complaint:
I had closed a business down and found a year later Godaddy had taken money out of my account for hosting. i inquired within the 30 day cancellation period and was told it can be done however godaddy needed to transfer the website information before closing. i gave consent for the website to be transferred. once done i message them back however now the reps are saying i cannot get a refund. $1000 taken for a service i will not be using and which i started the cancellation process within the time frame they mentioned. staff were rude and felt like i was talking to robots.
i asked to get all conversations i had with them through the online chat however they mentioned that information is classified and cannot be given. i asked several times under the freedom of information act however they refused.
I iam looking to get a refund, and an apology for what i have been through with this issue.
