My complaint:

I placed an order online on Monday and paid £6.50 for next day express delivery. On the following day the delivery driver (Craig) ‘attempted’ delivery. I was home all day and there was no knock at the door. He took a photo of the parcel in front of my door but didn’t leave it. I have my safe place saved and a preferred neighbour but he decided to completely ignore these instructions. On Wednesday the parcel was ‘attempted’ again. The exact same thing happened. Again, the parcel was not left in the safe place I selected and it wasn’t left with a neighbour. Thursday came and the tracking hasn’t been updated. It remains as ‘Wednesday, attempted delivery. We will try again the next working day.’ I tried the chat service to give instructions to leave the parcel in my safe place if the door isn’t answered. It is an automated chat so you can’t even type a message, it just gives you 3 options to chose from. Not one of them is relevant to what I need help with. It has been over 24 hours and the delivery hasn’t been reattempted. I again went to the chat service and requested a call back. Alas I haven’t received a call. The details still haven’t been updated on the tracking, so I have no idea of the status of my parcel or if they are even going to re attempt delivery. This is extremely important as the product is expensive and is for work. Therefore I will lose a lot of money if it doesn’t arrive by Saturday. I’m getting nowhere.

Suggested solution:

Call me and tell me where my parcel is and when it's going to be delivered. Refund my next day delivery fee.
